After nearly two years away from the game, wide receiver Calvin Ridley had over 1,000 receiving yards in a 2023 season with the Jacksonville Jaguars that was just the beginning of his comeback to the NFL.
Now with the Tennessee Titans on a four-year contract worth $92 million, Ridley is hoping to take his game to the next level and silence his doubters.
Even the sportsbooks are underrating Ridley heading into 2024 and giving Titans fans have an opportunity to cash in.
Currently listed under "player specials" on FanDuel Sportsbook are odds for Ridley to reach various milestones during the 2024 season, and it's clear that oddsmakers believe Ridley is going to somehow have a worse season than he did in 2023.
Ridley is +180 to record 1,000+ receiving yards in 2024. He is +155 to record eight or more receiving touchdowns. He hit both of those marks last year.
If you're a real believer in Ridley for 2024 (which I am), you may be interested in a better value play. Ridley is +650 to record over 1,250 receiving yards. He is +370 to have double-digit receiving touchdowns.
This is a wide receiver who is coming off a 1,000-yard, eight touchdown season after spending two years away from football. He should only get better the more football he plays. This is also a player who nearly had 1,400 receiving yards in 2020 before his time away. To list Ridley as this much of a longshot to have a big year feels crazy to me.
WR Calvin Ridley over/under receiving yards in 2024 is set at 875.5 on @DraftKings.

On @FanDuel, Ridley is +180 to have a 1,000 yard season with #Titans in 2024 (which he did in 2023).
+650 to go over 1,250 receiving.
I'll do you one better. I'll give you the bet that every Titans fans or Calvin Ridley fan should be all over before the season. Over on DraftKings Sportsbook, the current over/under for Calvin Ridley's receiving yards in 2024 is 875.5...If Ridley plays all 17 games, he would only need to average 51.5 yards per game to reach that mark. He has done that every year since his rookie year.
With the target share I expect Ridley to get in Tennessee, I can't see a world where a fully healthy Calvin Ridley doesn't smash the over on 875.5 receiving yards. I'd be all over it.
